Dakota Ibrahim has more than a decade of experience as a firefighter and paramedic in Illinois. He followed his father's footsteps into the career and began fighting fires at the age of 18. He has provided fire and emergency medical services to the Forest View, Illinois, community since 2021. His responsibilities with the Forest View Fire Department involve responding to medical emergencies and accidents. He has responded to numerous house fires and chemical spills during his career. Dakota Ibrahim has served in similar positions with the Bolingbrook Fire Department and Romeoville Fire Department, earning several unit citation awards for excellence during emergency medical situations. Dakota also has experience in the role of Paramedic in Charge, a direct supervisory position that involved managing operations on some of the busiest ambulances in the nation.

Mr. Ibrahim has achieved many professional certifications at the Romeoville Fire Academy, including his emergency medical technician license and his certification as a basic operations firefighter. In addition to his work as a firefighter and paramedic, himself and his family supports a non-profit organization that facilitates firefighter training in other parts of the world, with a focus on Guatemala.
